Some plants are perfectly content in darker corners and drab winter days, but others may suffer a bit without an adequate amount of light to keep them happy year round. Your plants may benefit from the addition of a grow light, but that doesn’t mean you have to go out and buy a new fixture and fill your room with they stereotypical “purple glow.”

Full Spectrum LED bulbs like Miracle LED are now available that put off white light and can be used in regular light fixtures to replicate daylight for your plants. As with most LED bulbs, these are a little more of an investment that standard bulbs, but they last a lot longer, save energy, and don’t put off heat… not to mention the beneficial effects on your plants and not having to replace them when they die make it totally worth the investment.

We use several Miracle LED bulbs in the clip-on light fixtures in the back room of the shop where we have no windows at all. These bulbs have been used to nurse some weeping plants back to health and to completely grow others that haven’t seen a single window since they arrived in our shop.

If this sounds like something you could use, I’ve attached a link to order some via Amazon below. Please check the maximum wattage in your lamp before you purchase.
