Bitten by the terrarium bug and want to make more? Join us for Happy Hour on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 to 5 for open studio hours!
Happy Hour is a self-led, self-taught creating session with no teacher present, so we recommend this for people who have previous terrarium building experience and have taken our class already. Happy Hour is an excellent option for people who want more terrariums but do not need the step-by-step instruction offered in our classes. You will be given unlimited access to our supplies, including decorative rocks, live tropical plants, and green moss to design the terrarium of your dreams.
We recommend booking a free spot for Happy Hour as our studio space is modest in size. Otherwise, Happy Hour spots are first come first serve. Customers with reservations will be prioritized for seats.
You are welcome to bring your own container to Happy Hour, or plant one of our DIY kits. If you are bringing your own container, we recommend the following to ensure plant success:
-Clear, clean glass that allows plenty of light in
-No residue inside from food, liquids, or chemicals
-A lid
-Containers tall enough to fit a plant into (or, consider making these just a moss-arium)
Pricing for Happy Hour depends upon the container you bring or choose, and what you plan to put inside. Most Happy Hour creations range from $15-60 with larger vessels costing more due to the amount of supplies required to fill them. Happy Hour is BYO! Please feel free to bring your own beer, wine, seltzer, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages. We ask please, no liquor and no food.
Our studio space is sometimes rented out during business hours for private events. Please check our social media for up to date closures.
